A Short Poem by R.H. Sin

One of the thing i love doing during my "me" time is browsing short poems on Pinterest. I used to write my own poem when I was younger. I guess those where the times when you are very attached with your emotions. It was that stage when you first had a crush and that feeling when he noticed you. It was also that stage where you experience falling in love and getting hurt.

I used to file all this poems I wrote for this one guy back in my high school days. It was actually cute but now I am a bit older, I do not really understand what I saw in him. Hahaha! I even remember writing a song for him when I'm still so into playing a guitar back then. I wonder if I still have that file. One of this days, I will have another general cleaning in one of my room and hopefully, I will find it and share it with you. 

I do not write poems as often as before. I usually write only when I feel so down just to release this heavy burdens inside me. It was my way of fighting my depression. I used to cut myself all the times whenever I feel so hurt and sad. I'm glad I was over it now. 

One of my favorite poet nowadays is R.H. Sin. His real name is Reuben Holmes. He was born in New Jersey. It was 2014 when he starts writing short satirical poems. I love the choice of words that he used in composing poems. It was a short poem but with a very strong and deep meaning. I fell in love instantly with one of the quote from his books, She Felt Like Feeling Nothing.

Since it is still very humid here in the Philippines. I was thinking of sharing the video I made before about the beautiful beaches we have here in my hometown, Batangas. Well actually this is not related to military. This ARMY stands for Adorable Representative M.C for Youth. It is actually a name of fandom, a group of fandom who loves BTS unconditionally. What is BTS? Don't tell me you do not know them. It is a South Korean Boy Group that are famous worldwide right now. BTS stands for in Korea as Bangtan Sonyeondan and in English it was meant before as Bulletproof Boy Scouts. It was change now to Beyond the Scene.

My bias or favorite among the seven is Jimin and my bias wrecker is Jin. Well, it is really hard to choose among the seven guys because I love them all. I used to stan other Kpop groups but this one is really gonna be for life. I mean despite how famous they are now, they still the same boy group I used love way back when they were still starting. They are still very funny, polite and down to earth. You can actually feel just by watching them on their videos or on their interviews how kind they are. It is like the popularity which they are experiencing right now never got to their head. They remain grounded which is totally cool.

In my other recent post, I have already mentioned that in a few weeks I will be returning to my beautiful hometown. It was a good 6 years living out of the country, I was able to support the needs of my son and I was able to travel to few countries as well.

Fortune Island is one of the best resort in Batangas. It used to be a private own island. Since its turned over it was opened for public viewing by the new owner Jose Antonio Leviste, a former governor of Batangas. It is located at Nasugbu, Batangas.

Camp Netanya Resort and Spa

It is like a little Santorini in Batangas, it is located in Anilao. If you love diving or snorkeling, you will find a this place a perfect place for it. It is a great haven for people who wants to relax and be faraway from the busy and noisy city life. It is 2 to 3 hours drive from Metro Manila. Taal Volcano

Of course, I am not going to miss this beautiful volcano, which is considered as the second active volcano in the Philippines. It is a 2 hours drive from Metro Manila. It is one of the most visited tourist spot in the country. They are a lot of travel agency that offers online a hiking itinerary for this place. It will take 20 minutes boat ride to reach the crater. Once you reach the place, someone will be there to guide you but of course it is not free. You need to pay 500 PHP or you have an option to just explore the place on your own. If you are also not a fan of hiking, you can also rent a pony where you can ride on it while exploring the place. It has a really nice top view so better try it.

 Parrot's Beak

If you are a type of person who loves adventure and a thrill-seeker, you should definitely try this place. It is situated at the border of Nasugbu, Batangas and Cavite. It is a great spot for hikers plus they will enjoy and experience here a bit of rock climbing. 

Malabrigo Point Lighthouse

It is situated in Barangay Malabrigo Lobo, Batangas. It is also known as Faro De Punta Malabrigo. I consider it as one of the hidden paradise of Batangas. It is a bit eerie inside some of the locals will tell you stories that many people died there during the Japanese era. You will also enjoy the Malabrigo beach near the lighthouse.

It is actually a small farm which they are focusing more on bee producing honey. This place is open for visitors everyday. It is situated in Kurba Road, Balagtasin, San Jose, Batangas.
